Merry Desserts Part 2: Burnt Ube Basque Cheesecake

BURNT UBE BASQUE CHEESECAKE

For those of you who don't know what Ube is, it's purple yam. Mainly grown in the Philippines. Family of the sweet potato and yes, I obviously love it. It's one of my favourite flavours ever. So does most of the people around me, at work and generally in life.

This is my take on the classic burnt cheesecake. Something different from the baked eggnog one I made last Christmas.

This crustless, creamy, and Ube-flavoured cheesecake was very tasty it just melts in your mouth.

Served with: Whipped cream and dollops of Chef's fish sauce caramel
